Rebecca went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012 at the University of Pittsburgh. Since graduation, Rebecca has worked in a multitude of settings to include: home health, outpatient, short term rehab, assisted living and long term care.
Rebecca is committed to providing her patients the best patient centered care and finds fulfillment in assisting patients in returning to normal function. Rebecca is certified in the Otago Exercise Program for progressive balance training. Additionally, Rebecca is certified as a Functional Standards for Optimal Aging Expert (FSOAE) and is trained to administer, interpret and recommend specific exercises based on results on the Adult Functional Independence Test (AFIT). There has been research linking these specific test results to various illnesses and diseases and recommendations to reduce risk of developing them by administering specific exercises to improve your score on AFIT.
When not in the clinic, Rebecca enjoys traveling, decorating, anything Disney and spending time with her husband, new baby Skylar, her family and two dogs Cinnamon and Sugar.
